Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the kindergarten curriculum - Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students - Teach foundational skills such as reading, writing, and math - Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance - Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and engage students - Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive classroom culture - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a kindergarten or early childhood setting - Knowledge of education administration and best practices in early childhood education - Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues - Experience in mentoring and guiding students to reach their full potential - Familiarity with literacy education and strategies for promoting reading skills - Knowledge of library services and resources to support student learning - Proficient in classroom management techniques to create an organized and productive learning environment - Attention to detail for proofreading instructional materials Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
